Common Core is a nationwide initiative designed to herd states into national K-12 standards and national tests, which ultimately will lead to a national curriculum and silence curriculum input from local parents, taxpayers and educators. Roll call vote of senators who voted to end debate on the Hagel nomination Of course despite all their opposition in the media, McCain and Graham were the first to cave. After it was decided to end the debate, Hagel won the confirmation to lead the Pentagon.
