When you incentivize those who are creative risk takers good things happen. However, Absent a moral compass, free enterprise can make slaves of the very consumers that make this system work. This invites the government to come boldly to the rescue, thereby “killing the goose that laud the golden egg.”
I have always loved this segment between Friedman and Donohue. So happy to have the best part in only a two minute segment. Thank you for this and for all you’re doing to help help steer this country back in the right (and right) direction.
