The entertainment industry is no exception, as a wide range of celebrities have publicized their own opinions. They include Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, who earlier this week signed a letter published in a Spanish newspaper condemning Israel, only to issue statements days later clarifying their own distaste for anti-Semitism. I wanted to reblog this. I absolutely respect Jon Voight for standing firm and speaking out about his political beliefs and now standing for Israel! What a hero in Hollywood! There are some besides Jon Voight, but he’s more outspoken. What an awesome man to stand up and shout out about anti-semitism amongst his peers in Hollywood!
I get so angry when people like Penelope Cruz spout off about topics they know nothing about. I’m glad Voight put them in their place!
