Video from 20th Century Fox
Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado portrays Jesus as the film spans from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection. It marks the first motion picture about Jesus’s life since Passion of the Christ, released ten years ago.
Thanks for posting, Alexis. TBN featured a long program on the film with lots of clips. I cannot wait to see it in the theater. Barbara and I are definitely planning on seeing it. The “Queen of Liberty” is at the front of the Christian-Conservative message.
Aw, thanks George! I hope you and Barbara enjoy it. I can’t wait to see it. Hannity did a full hour on it last weekend with the filmmakers also. I’ll look for the TBN episode.
Has anyone seen this film yet? I have heard mixed reviews. I am looking forward to seeing it within the next week or two.
Not yet. It looks good. Did you see the Hannity special on it? I very rarely go to the movies. I hate giving those Hollywood folks any money but I will go for this.
If you see it before me, let me know what you think. If I see it first, I’ll give ya my opinion. Have a great week! 🙂
No, I missed Hannity that night. The last movie I saw in a theatre was 2016: Obama’s America and prior to that I couldn’t tell you the last time I went to the movies. I am an old movie junkie, so I watch those that I have at home or when something good is on TCM or AMC.
Sounds like a deal, Alexis – I’ll let you know what I think when I get around to going, I’ll probably take my mom, she’s been talking about it!
You have a great week, too 🙂
