North Dakota becomes the tenth state to pass Convention of States resolution.

North Dakota passed the Convention of States resolution with overwhelming support!

This historic vote adds North Dakota to the growing list of states banding together to place much-needed limits on the power of the federal government.

Acting State Director for COS Project ND, Jeremy Neuharth remarked, “Today I stand as a proud North Dakotan that we are part of the solution. Our legislature took the bold step, using the tools provided by the Founders in the Constitution, to restore the balance of power back to the states. It is with these acts that we secure one of our most sacred rights – individual liberty for all!”

Yes! I am so proud of my state legislators! Thank you Representatives Rick C. Becker, Al Carlson, Craig Headland, Jim Kasper, Kim Koppelman, Scott Louser, and Dan Ruby. Thank you also Senators Kelly Armstrong, Jonathan Casper, David Hogue, Nicole Poolman, and Rich Wardner. ❤

On February 17, 2017, HCR 3006 was declared adopted on a recorded roll call vote – 69 Yeas,
18 Nays, 0 excused, 7 absent (and not voting).

On March 24, 2017,HCR 3006 was declared adopted on a voice vote by the Senate.

More great news from my state: On March 23, 2017, Governor Doug Burgum signed the “constitutional carry” bill into law. 🙂

    • Yea! Good work ND! Thanks for the links Char 🙂

Every one deserves a cheer. We have but one US Congressman in ND (Kevin Cramer) who has a weekly townhall meeting on radio here and always laughs and mocks callers who bring up Article V COS.

Good for these statesmen/women who stand up for our rights.

    • Just came across this site… And I want to applaud not only that North Dakota passed the resolution for an amendments convention, but it was how they did it…

The ND House passed the Convention Of States Project’s application in a 4 to 1 fashion… and not to be out done, the ND Senate overwhelmingly passed on a voice vote with nary a dissenting “Nay”… maybe a couple weak voices registered against. It was awesome.

Having grown up north of Williston, North Dakotans will look at the facts and make their decision and the fears our opponents spew were of no affect in the vote… So proud of this event and the actions of ND Legislature was better than any other State so far…!

Happy to hear North Dakota is on board in support of Article V, Restoring the Constitution
