Love you liberty!
Love you Reagan!
And shame on google for failing to mention Reagan’s hand in this historic event.

I think we are at a crossroads in history. I don't know how this will end but I want to document it. I want to leave words behind me so others will know the truth. I once lived in a time and place when men were free.
I'm very honored and happy that two of my favorite politicians follow me on twitter, Senator Ted Cruz and Congressman Jim Bridenstine @tedcruz @RepJBridenstine

Thanks for reblogging Lorra! 🙂
Thinking back about Reagan particularly during that time in history makes me misty eyed. Wow I miss him still. What a great statesman he was, and an inspiration to people around the world.

I remember that speech from President Reagan back in the 1980’s. I was in Berlin back in 1982 when it still was a city divided; I was able to visit both the West and East sides (the East Berlin visit was, back then, conducted by an approved East German government tour guide), and I vividly remember the look on a young woman’s face looking out the window of our motor coach saying “you people get to leave here and I can’t” with no words necessary to be spoken.
West Berliners referred to the Berlin Wall as the “wall of shame” from the time it was erected until the time it finally came down in 1989. Ronald Reagan’s wish became reality, and it was indeed an historic event, not to mention another triumph of liberty over repression that he helped inspire.
