Article V – The Solution To Tyranny

George Mason feared the national government might one day end in a tyrannical aristocracy. The rights of the people needed to be secured and one of the solutions can be found in Article V of the U.S. Constitution which gives state legislatures the authority to call a convention and bypass the federal government.
